We’re proud partners of M&G Real Estate at Manchester Arndale. Comprising 1.8 million sq ft of retail and F&B space, Manchester Arndale has an icon in the north west’s shopping scene for over three decades.
Located at the core of Manchester's vibrant city centre, Manchester Arndale captures 40 million annual visitors.
Already a successful and much-loved shopping centre with heaps on offer, we've made it better by creating a brand new food quarter giving people another reason to stay even longer.
The new modern casual dining destination – going by the name Halle Place – offers ten restaurants and cafés with stylish seating in a striking atrium.
An enhanced dining scene at Manchester Arndale will fully complement the centre’s outstanding retail mix, giving customers an all-round, compelling experience.
You'll be in good company at Manchester Arndale
With so many shops, the range of choice at Manchester Arndale is staggering
Competitively positioned among high street stores, Next’s appeal is widespread, drawing men, women and children into any centre. It's truly a retailer that offers something for everyone.
Never standing still
Our customer-focused strategy means we’re always looking for new ways to create compelling experiences that keep our customers coming back for more. Through active asset management, centre-based promotional events and development, we’re ensuring that Manchester Arndale delivers a contemporary shopping experience.
That’s why as well as continuously refreshing our retail offer, we’re also updating the leisure offer with the creation of Halle Place. These days shopping is about more than just buying – it’s also about socialising and spending time with family and friends, and where better than in the trendiest new restaurants right in the centre of the city.

Uniqlo opens its flagship store at Manchester Arndale
In April, Uniqlo opened its flagship store for the North at Manchester Arndale. The store, which is only Uniqlo’s third in the UK outside London, occupies a completely redesigned 21,000 sq ft unit on Market Street. AllSaints also committed to a new ten-year lease on a new unit in the centre, following several years of strong trading on Market Street.
This comes alongside the addition of Victoria's Secret/ Pink, Metro Bank and home and body cosmetics brand Rituals to Manchester Arndale’s line-up in recent weeks. The centre’s food and beverage offering has also been boosted by the arrival of popular burger and shake restaurant Archies to the Halle Place food court.
Manchester Arndale remains one of the top trading locations for international brands entering the UK market and established brands looking to launch exciting new offers. We are always working to curate an unbeatable line up of global brands at Manchester Arndale and this latest round of deals further enhances the offer for the 40 million shoppers which visit the centre annually."
