Our multi-million pound investment will elevate Watford to a top-20 retail destination
intu Watford is a thriving shopping centre and our transformative extension project is underway to make it bigger and better.
Our £180 million investment will create an impressive single1.4 million sq ft retail and leisure destination to entice visitors from further, more often and, to stay for longer.
We’ll be making room for even more great retail brands such as Debenhams, Superdry and Jack Wills. We're also introducing a variety of new and interesting restaurant concepts such as The Florist and and leisure activities for the whole family to enjoy, including a nine-screen IMAX Cineworld cinema and Hollywood Bowl.
intu Watford is already a thriving centre but it's set to become one of the best shopping towns in the UK, providing customers with even more reasons to visit and explore all that the town has to offer from morning into the evening.

Off on a big adventure
Our much loved wooden animals that were once the centrepiece of Charter Place have been getting ready for a big adventure. Since our development works commenced we’ve given the animals some time rest - we even treated them to a nice coat of varnish to make sure they looked tip top for their outing, Now they can be found at their new home at the Cha Cha Cha café in Cassiobury Park where they'll continue to be enjoyed by the community for years to come!
