From the UK’s longest indoor real-snow ski slope, climbing wall, aerial assault course, adventure golf, Odeon cinema and superb restaurants, it attracts visitors from Renfrewshire, across Scotland and the North of England. This makes intu Braehead much more than just an incredible retail experience. It’s Scotland’s largest retail and leisure complex, and is also a complete day out destination in its own right.
The site already has a footfall hitting 17 million annually and a total available retail spend of some £10 billion. And with our expansion plans to introduce more popular names in retail and dining, plus a hotel and an arena for concerts and exhibitions, this centre's got real appeal.

An evolving leisure destination
We’re investing £200 million to expand and transform intu Braehead into a new-generation retail and leisure destination complete with a concert arena and hotel
intu Braehead is growing. We’re set to transform it into the sort of destination that visitors will come back to time and time again, whether to shop, eat or play.
Our plans cover a whole host of additional retail and leisure facilities, including an 8,000-capacity arena for concerts, shows, conferences and exhibitions, as well as sports events, all made even easier to access via improved transport links
And not to mention, there’ll also be an extension of the shopping centre, including a new public square, leading department stores, plus more variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. It doesn't stop there, as part of our development we'll also build a brand-new 200-bed hotel, complete with fluffy pillows and a top-notch breakfast to ensure guests are well rested and rearing to go for a full day of shopping and activities at this one stop leisure-break destination.
