intu Victoria Centre launches new car valet service
New service is a first for the centre and will include a new vehicle sanitising service, in response to Covid-19
intu Victoria Centre is pleased to announce that leading car valet provider Inter Car Cleaning (ICC) has launched at the centre. The service is the first of its kind for the location and aims to significantly enhance visitor experience.
ICC will occupy a number of parking spaces on Level 3 of the intu Victoria Centre Car Park, operating seven days per week. Approximately 3,000 cars currently pass through the centre car park on a typical day, rising to 4,500 during peak times such as December.
ICC offers a wide range of vehicle cleaning services, from an express wash to a full valet, and has also recently launched a new sanitising service in response to Covid-19. This involves a full disinfection of all washable vehicle surfaces, using a new anti-bacterial multi surface sanitiser produced by Autoglym.
ICC use only environmentally friendly bio-degradable washing agents and high quality Autoglym valeting products. They are also a highly affordable service, with prices starting at just £5.
intu Victoria Centre is a prime retail and leisure destination, typically attracting around 24 million visits by consumers per year. Its £42 million refurbishment in 2015 has transformed it into a contemporary retail space, and a number of leading brands now occupy units – including John Lewis, Next, Swatch and Superdry.
Rebecca Ryman, Customer Performance Director for intu Victoria Centre, commented:
“We are really pleased to welcome ICC to intu Victoria Centre, who will offer our visitors something new.
“We’re constantly looking at ways we can innovate, enhance the shopping experience and save visitors time and effort – so ICC is the perfect addition to our centre. Services like these always prove a draw and help to drive centre footfall.
“The new vehicle sanitising service provided by ICC will also add an extra layer of reassurance as consumers return to the shops.
“We’re carefully managing the centre post-COVID-19 – something valued by our brands. We have a range of safety measures in place to ensure shoppers feel secure, and we’re ready to adapt quickly, as and when government advice changes.”
Darren Avery at ICC, commented:
“We’re very excited to launch our new unit at intu Victoria centre this month and bring our brand to a new city.
“Incorporating a car wash or valet into the shopping experience is practical, and a real time-saver – something customers really value.
“Our new sanitisation service, introduced in response to Covid-19, will also help keep people safe as they adapt and return to the shops.
“Intu Victoria is one of Nottingham’s leading retail and leisure destinations, with an impressive footfall, and so it is the perfect location for our continued expansion.”
