We have followed the Government’s advice throughout the pandemic to ensure the safety of our centres and offices and all those who visit or work there.

Five Steps to Safety Working Together

We have carried out a Covid-19 Risk Assessment and shared the results with the people who work here

We have conducted risk assessments across all of our operations to ensure the management of risks associated with COVID-19. Whether you are a visitor to one of our centres or offices or work there, you will see the results of our risk assessment contributing to the control of the virus in our centres and offices and on our internet and social media platforms. We have consulted with a broad range of stakeholders such as staff, specialists, primary authority and followed government advice throughout this period and have confidence in our COVID-19 secure status.

We have cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance

Our centres, malls, back of house areas and offices we have increased the regularity of cleaning, with particular focus on high frequency touchpoints such as lift buttons, handrails, and door handles etc. conducting deep cleaning out of hours. 

We have hand washing facilities and sanitising stations available throughout the centre. This is supported by strategically placed clear signage to act as a reminder and a guide.

We have taken all reasonable steps to help people work from home

Where staff have been able to work from home we have supported them to work safely and effectively, through providing equipment, training, information and advice, and will continue to do so for as long as necessary.  Where it is not possible for staff to work from home, we have taken all reasonable steps to make the workplace COVID-19 Secure.

We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace

Throughout our centres and offices we have introduced numerous precautions to maintain social distancing.  These include monitoring numbers in our centres and offices, providing clear guidance through signage placed around all of our buildings, audio and video messages in the centres and on our internet and social media platforms, providing staff with COVID-19 training to ensure that they can maintain the recommendations and support our visitors where required.

Where people cannot be 2m apart, we have done everything practical to manage transmission risk

Through our assessment of risk, we have identified and reduced the number of opportunities to work within 2m of another person to a minimum. Where this is not possible, we have implemented additional controls such as provision of protective equipment such as screens, personal protective equipment for first aiders, while all staff have been provided face coverings to be worn at their discretion.
