Regional centre director
Joined the Group in 1999 as Braehead Operations Manager, in 2006 he became General Manager and is now taking up the role of Regional Centre Director in 2013. Peter previously served in HM Forces with the Royal Tank Regiment prior to taking up a role with Freeport Leisure, a factory outlet operator, then moving on to intu Braehead.
Customer experience director
Joined the Group in February 2013 as Customer Experience Director. Before joining intu, Roger spent five years at the Regus Group Plc where he was Vice President of Global Marketing. His role with Regus covered the full mix of marketing disciplines across 100 countries; CRM, Digital, Field Marketing, PR & Comms, Brand development & management, Channel management and Customer insight & Research. Prior to Regus he worked for Marriott International leading and developing the UK customer engagement and experience programmes including the hotels chains’ own loyalty program: Marriott Rewards. Prior to Marriott, Roger spent eight years at Dixons Stores Group in a variety of roles covering Marketing, Operations and Sales.
Regional centre director
Joined the Group in January 2013 as general manager at intu Victoria centre, becoming Regional Centre Director in April 2014 upon the acquisition of intu Derby and intu Merry Hill, and the creation of a new Midlands region. Prior to joining intu, Janine worked for Westfield for seven years in General and Regional Manager roles, and prior to that she worked for 17 years at Marks & Spencer in a variety of Financial and Store Manager appointments.
Managing director, intu Retail Services
Joined the Group in 2007, with responsibility for heading up the Facilities Management services across the intu portfolio. Brian than led the formation of a strategic alliance with key service partners, acting as a precursor to the creation of intu Retail Services in 2013, a joint venture between intu Properties plc and Bilfinger Europa and employs over 2,000 staff across the UK. Prior to joining intu, Brian previously worked for ISS, a global facility services provider.
Joined the Group as Head of PR and Communications in February 2011. Previously held Head of Marketing and Communications positions with international and UK based large private companies.
Head of risk & internal audit
Joined the Group as Head of Risk and Internal Audit in 2009. Qualified as an ACA with Coopers & Lybrand in 1993 and now focuses on Risk & Audit. Previously held Head of Risk and Audit positions in three FTSE 100 and large private companies.
Brad joined the development team in May 2016, bringing with him nearly 30 years of experience principally gained within the retail development sector, having held senior positions within both retailers and private development companies where he worked on a number of flagship retail schemes. He is a chartered surveyor, having been elected in 1992, and is a former chairman of Accessible Retail, the industry organisation for retail warehouse and superstore property.
Head of investor relations
Joined the Group in 2008 and appointed head of investor relations in 2014. Adrian has dealt with most areas of finance on the majority of intu’s assets, including forecasting, strategic planning and partner liaisons. A qualified chartered accountant, Adrian has over 15 years experience of working in finance roles in both listed and privately owned companies.
Joined the Group in 2013 as Asset Manager at intu Trafford Centre, and appointed as Regional Director West in February 2016. His role covers intu Trafford Centre, intu Potteries and the JVs at St David’s, Manchester Arndale and Cribbs Causeway. Prior to joining intu, he previously worked for several retailers and served on the management committee of the Property Managers Association for a number of years. He has been a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors for over 20 years and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Director of project management
Joined the Group in 2006 as a project manager, becoming a director of Liberty International Construction & Development in 2008. Following the 2010 Liberty International demerger and change of name, Charles was appointed Director of Project Management. He is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and previously was a Partner in a cost consultancy and project management practice.
Chief information systems officer
Joined the Group in October 2011 as Chief Information Systems Officer. Before joining intu, Gian was Chief Information Officer for Lend Lease's European and Middle Eastern businesses. Previously he has held senior roles at De Agostini, Teletext and Hays.
Joined the Group in 1998 and has worked across all of the shopping centres in both asset management and property management roles, with particular involvement at intu Chapelfield; Manchester Arndale; Cribbs Causeway, intu Braehead, and intu Eldon Square. Kate has over 20 years experience in the retail property industry, including retail leasing roles at a number of private practices prior to joining intu.
In her current role Kate has responsibility for four centres – intu Metrocentre, intu Eldon Square, intu Braehead and Sprucefield. Kate also leads the leasing team responsible for new retail and food and beverage business across the portfolio.
Managing director of intu.co.uk
Joined the Group in December 2012 as part of the acquisition of StyleMeTV, an online shopping centre. Previously Founder & CEO of Geronimo PR (one of the UK’s largest PR agencies; sold to Tribal Group in August 2003) and Non-executive Chairman of TVC Group (an integrated marketing agency specialising in broadcast & digital; sold to the Economist in March 2012). In addition to her experience in digital media and broadcast, Karen was listed as a leader in her field in the PR Week Powerbook and is a trustee of a large education based charity.
Director of tax
Joined the Group in January 2003 to be responsible for all of the Group’s tax affairs. Gary has been an active member of industry groups formulating the UK's REIT and other property taxation rules. Prior to joining the Group, he worked in the property taxation team at KPMG, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997.
Human resources director
Joined the Group as Head of Human Resources in March 2009. Previously he was Head of Employee Relations at BAA Airports Limited and has over 30 years’ experience in HR, leading the function in a range of companies in the manufacturing and service sectors.
Regional centre director - Central Operations
Joined the Group in 2005 as General Manager for The Potteries Shopping Centre, Stoke on Trent. In 2009, Paul was appointed to General Manager Lakeside Shopping Centre, and in January 2013 he was appointed to Regional Centre Director. Prior to joining the Group, Paul worked for 26 years with Marks & Spencer plc, where he held a variety of Senior Store and Regional roles, as well as completing a number of international assignments.
Corporate responsibility director
Joined the Group as Corporate Responsibility Director in 2007. Previously Head of Internal Communications for the Church of England. Served in London local government for 16 years and was Lord Mayor of the City of Westminster during 2006 and 2007.
Regional centre director
Joined the Group in 2006 as General Manager of the Glades Shopping Centre at Bromley, then moving to Watford in 2013 as General Manager. He was then appointed to Regional Director South in December 2016, where his role covers intu Lakeside, intu Watford ,intu Uxbridge, and intu Chapelfield. Prior to joining the group, he previously worked for John Lewis Partnership for 18 years in various managerial roles, moving into the airport industry working at London City and Luton where he held management positions within their Duty Free businesses and Airport operations prior to joining the group.
Joined the Group's Development team in 2005, having qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and spent 15 years specialising in retail agency and development consultancy. Former clients include Church Commissioners, Crown Estate, UBS, and Mercury Asset Management.
Regional centre director
Joined the Group in 2015 as Project Manager for intu Retail Services, in 2016 she became Regional Centre Director for the North west and West Region. Prior to joining intu, Alison worked for Land Securities for seven years in General and Retail Operations roles and prior to that she worked for fifteen years at Marks & Spencer in a variety of Development and Store Manager appointments.
Joined the Group in 2014 as Senior Asset manager of intu Merry Hill. He was appointed Regional Director Midlands In February 2016. His role covers the Midlands region including intu Derby, intu Milton Keynes and intu Merry Hill.
Nick has 25 years of experience in the property industry with previous roles including Colliers international and Boultbee Land .
Rebecca has over 20 years retail property experience and has been with intu for 17 years, working on the majority of our centres through a combination of asset management, leasing, commercialisation and property management roles. Since 2014, Rebecca has been responsible for our southern region which covers intu Lakeside, intu Watford, intu Chapelfield and intu Uxbridge. A qualified chartered surveyor, Rebecca is also responsible for the property management function for the whole portfolio and sits on the security and data committees, IT steering group and Revo Gold Awards judging panel.
