From the design and infrastructure to the digital connectivity, retail mix and customer experience, the way we manage our centres keeps visitors coming back and helps our customers flourish.

And it’s not just about our concrete assets. We’re the only UK-wide shopping centre brand to own a transactional website., now a top 10 affiliate site, offers visitors a seamless online and in centre shopping experience.

We don’t have a crystal ball… but we talk to our visitors all the time to find out what they want from their shopping experience – 28,000 of them last year.

We don’t stand still - over the next three years we are investing £655m in new developments

Our investment in our UK assets creates the stylish and sought-after shopping destinations customers and visitors want, revitalises city centres and brings economic benefits to communities.

Our investment programme includes three major projects and a programme of improvements at every centre.

£320 million has been earmarked for projects that will transform three of our centres: intu Watford will become a top-20 regional destination. intu Broadmarsh’s redevelopment will include a cinema, leisure and catering and new retail space and at intu Lakeside the first phase of a £73 million innovative leisure extension will bring new restaurants and leisure brands that will draw people in from a wider catchment area.

Our reign in Spain

We have a strong and growing presence in Spain – and our brand is proving to be just as effective there as it is in the UK

Our bold move into the Spanish market sees us owning three of the top 10 centres intu Asturias, Puerto Venecia and Xanadú, about to start on site on a new class of regional destination centre at intu Costa del Sol and interest growing in our three development sites in Vigo, Palma and Valencia.

intu Asturias and Puerto Venecia are both performing strongly with sales, dwell and footfall all beating the industry benchmarks. intu Costa del Sol is the first of our new concept retail resorts which will redefine the shopping centre category

The intu brand has proved eminently transferable: the high-level of digital connectivity, compelling events and world class service are proving as successful with Spanish visitors as they are with British shoppers.
