Peter Beagley Regional Centre Director
Joined the Group in 1999 as Braehead Operations Manager, in 2006 he became General Manager and now taking up the role of Regional Centre Director in 2013. Peter previously served in HM Forces with the Royal Tank Regiment, prior to taking up a role with Freeport Leisure a factory outlet operator, then moving onto Braehead.
Roger Binks Customer Experience Director
Joined the Group in February 2013 as Customer Experience Director. Before joining Intu, Roger spent 5 years at the Regus Group Plc where he was Vice President of Global Marketing. His role with Regus covered the full mix of marketing disciplines across 100 countries; CRM, Digital, Field Marketing, PR & Comms, Brand development & management, Channel management and Customer insight & Research. Prior to Regus he worked for Marriott International leading and developing the UK Customer engagement and experience programs including the hotels chains’ own loyalty program; Marriott Rewards. Prior to Marriott Roger spent 8 years at Dixons Stores Group in a variety of roles covering Marketing, Operations and Sales.
Martin Breeden Regional Director
Joined the Group in 2002 and has worked on almost all of Intu's assets at various times and in particular, was responsible for the delivery of the major development and investment programme at Eldon Square, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Martin has over 20 years experience in the retail property industry and has previously worked for MEPC and Jones Lang LaSalle, the latter including four years in Spain. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the advisory panel of the British Council of Shopping Centres.
Amanda Campbell Communications Director
Joined the Group as Head of PR and Communications in February 2011. Previously held Head of Marketing and Communications positions with international and UK based large private companies.
Claire Combes Head of Risk & Internal Audit
Joined the Group as Head of Risk and Internal Audit in 2009. Qualified as an ACA with Coopers & Lybrand in 1993 and now focuses on Risk & Audit. Previously held Head of Risk and Audit positions in three FTSE 100 and large private companies.
Charles Forrester Director of Project Management
Joined the Group in 2006 as a project manager, becoming a director of Liberty International Construction & Development in 2008. Following the 2010 Liberty International demerger and change of name, Charles was appointed Director of Project Management. He is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and previously was a Partner in a cost consultancy & project management practice.
Gian Fulgoni Chief Information Systems Officer
Joined the Group in October 2011 as Chief Information Systems Officer. Before joining Intu, Gian was Chief Information Officer for Lend Lease's European and Middle Eastern businesses. Previously he has held senior roles at De Agostini, Teletext and Hays.
Kate Grant Regional Director
Joined the Group in 1998 and has worked across most of the shopping centres in both asset management and property management roles, with particular involvement at Chapelfield, Norwich; Manchester Arndale; Cribbs Causeway, Braehead, and Eldon Square, Newcastle. Kate has over 15 years experience in the retail property industry, including retail leasing roles at a number of private practices prior to joining Intu. She was responsible for the property management business across the shopping centre portfolio, from 2008 to June 2013 when she assumed her current role.
Karen Harris Managing Director of intu.co.uk
Joined the Group in December 2012 as part of the acquisition of StyleMeTV, an online shopping centre. Previously Founder & CEO of Geronimo PR (one of the UK’s largest PR agencies, sold to Tribal Group in August 2003) and Non-executive Chairman of TVC Group (an integrated marketing agency specialising in broadcast & digital, sold to the Economist in March 2012). In addition to her experience in digital media and broadcast, Karen was listed as a leader in her field in the PR Week Powerbook and is a trustee of a large education based charity.
Gary Hoskins Head of Tax
Joined the Group in 2003 as Group Tax Manager, becoming Head of Tax in April 2007. Gary has been an active member of industry groups formulating the UK's REIT and other property taxation rules. Prior to joining the Group, he worked in the property taxation team at KPMG, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997.
Bernie Kingsley Human Resources Director
Joined the Group as Head of Human Resources in March 2009. Previously he was Head of Employee Relations at BAA Airports Limited and has over 30 years’ experience in HR, leading the function in a range of companies in the manufacturing and service sectors.
Paul Lancaster Regional Centre Director
Joined the Group in 2005 as General Manager for The Potteries Shopping Centre, Stoke – on – Trent. In 2009 was appointed to General Manager Lakeside Shopping Centre, and in January 2013 appointed to Regional Centre Director. Prior to joining the business, Paul worked for 26 years with Marks and Spencer plc, where he held a variety of Senior Store and Regional roles ,as well as completing a number of international assignments.
Gordon McKinnon Operations Director
Appointed Operations Director in November 2013. He joined the Group as Operations Director, CSC Trafford in January 2011 and became a Regional Centre Director in January 2013. Spent 20 years in various roles with Marks & Spencer before taking up an assignment with Manchester Millenium Limited, the task force rebuilding Manchester City Centre following the 1996 IRA bomb. Subsequently appointed Chief Executive of Manchester City Centre Management Company Limited. He was appointed Director of Operations at The Trafford Centre in 2004.
Alexander Nicoll Director of Corporate Responsibility
Joined the Group as Director of Corporate Responsibility in 2007. Previously Head of Internal Communications for the Church of England. Served in London local government for 16 years and was Lord Mayor of the City of Westminster during 2006–2007.
Julie Pears Director of Development
Joined the Group's Development team in 2005, having qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and spent 15 years specialising in retail agency and development consultancy. Former clients include Church Commissioners, Crown Estate, UBS, and Mercury Asset Management.
Rebecca Ryman Regional Director
Joined the group in 2000 working initially on Watford and then on virtually all of intu's assets over the last 14 years in roles within Asset Management, Property Management, Leasing and Commercialisation. Appointed Regional Director in May 2014 with responsibility for intu Watford, intu Bromley, intu Chapelfield and intu Uxbridge. Prior to the appointment as Regional Director, Rebecca has most recently been involved in the mall refreshment and catering projects at intu Eldon Square.
Mike Wallace Group Treasurer
Joined the Group as Group Treasurer in December 2013. A Management Accountant with over 20 years experience in Treasury roles. Previously Group Treasurer at Marks and Spencer Plc since 2006 where he managed their multi billion pound debt refinancing programme as well as leading the Treasury Department providing support to their operations.
Julian Wilkinson Regional Director
Appointed Regional Director in May 2014, with responsibility for intu Trafford Centre, intu Lakeisde, Arndale Manchester, Cribbs Causeway Bristol and intu Merry Hill. He joined the Group as Property Director, CSC Trafford in January 2011, responsible for investment and property management. He has held similar positions at Director level over the last 15 years as a retailer and landlord. He was appointed Director of Property at The Trafford Centre in 2006.
